It acts, not just answers
Ask for a purchase order for everything below its reorder level, or a goods receipt against today's delivery, and it is done in VAP — not drafted for someone to retype.
Your AI assistant runs VAP — with your permissions
VAP has its own MCP server, so an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can work inside your ERP: update stock, raise purchase orders, record goods receipts, analyse sales and send reports on WhatsApp — anything you can do on VAP's screens, limited to what the signed-in person is allowed to do.
What it does
Ask for a purchase order for everything below its reorder level, or a goods receipt against today's delivery, and it is done in VAP — not drafted for someone to retype.
Sales by outlet, slow movers, stock about to run out — analysed from your own records and sent to you on WhatsApp.
The agent works as the person signed in. A cashier's assistant can bill but cannot open the books; a branch manager's sees that branch.
In detail
VAP is the AI-first ERP built by Vritti AI. AI-first means the AI can run the system, not just describe it: VAP has its own MCP server, so an AI assistant can do anything in VAP that you can do through its screens — with exactly the permissions of the person using it.
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that AI assistants use to connect to software. Because VAP has an MCP server, you are not tied to one AI: Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that supports MCP can work with it.
The agent acts as the person signed in. Everything it does is checked against the same roles and permissions as the screens — scoped to the organisation, a firm, a group of outlets or one outlet — so it can never see or change more than that person could themselves. See roles and permissions.
It can only take the actions the signed-in person is allowed to take, and every change goes through the same rules as a change made on screen — stock movements, tax, the ledger. Give someone read-only access and their assistant can analyse but not change anything.
Owners and managers who want answers and routine work done without opening five screens: a pharmacy owner checking stock about to expire across outlets, a distributor raising the week's purchase orders, an accountant pulling the month's sales by firm. It is part of VAP, set up for your trade.
FAQ
Any assistant that supports MCP, the open Model Context Protocol — Claude and ChatGPT included.
No. It works as the signed-in person, with that person's roles and permissions, scoped to the same outlets and firms.
Nothing. It can do what you can do on VAP's screens — faster, and by asking in plain language instead of clicking through them.
